Promoting a large website or for an extended period of time requires an overall LBC Calendar Plan consisting of several individual Link Building Campaigns and Promotional Campaigns over a 4 to 6 month period.
Category Selection
The first step for LBC Planning is to idenfity the website or keyword categories that will be the focus of the LBC Plan. While link building can improve the website ranking for all of the target keywords, it is important to focus on the categories that will generate the largest increases in traffic and goal conversion.
When selecting the categories, it is important to consider how well the website supports the overall keyword category theme. If there is not enough support, new content should be developed before or during the initial few weeks of the link building campaign.
New category themes often need more promotional efforts than established content. Establish content typically needs refreshed and expanded coverage to win top keyword rankings. Category themes should not be repeated without some changes in the website content unless a significant amount of time has passed.
LBC Calendars
Most Link Building Campaigns are structured to promote 3 8211; 5 website pages through a serioes of 10 8211; 15 activities over a 10 week period. When running multiple LBCs at the same time, individual LBCS need to be planned out over an extended period of time on a calendar to ensure proper timing as well as to balance all Link Building Campaigns against budgeted fees.
The calender should have a definitive start and end date and no individual LBC should start or end within 2 weeks of these Calender Start & End Dates. Each LBC also has Start Date and End Date and there should be at least 2 weeks between each LBC.

LBC Reporting
The final website page and keyword review occurs approximately 2 8211; 3 weeks before an LBC is scheduled to begin to ensure that website page titles and content are supportive of the LBC target keywords. In addition, Link Building Activities are constantly evaluated for quality and effectiveness and the specific activity mix is not selected until 1 -2 weeks before the LBC Start Date. As soon as these activities are planned, the LBC can be viewed in the Eduki Reporting System. From this point on, each link building activity can be viewed in real-time as it is processed and example links will be recorded as the individual activity is completed.
During the time period that an individual LBC is running, target keyword rankings will be monitored to gauge any immediate keyword movement of the link building activities. Over time, the collective keyword movement of all LBC campaigns will be reviewed for an additional 60 days beyond the LBC end date. While the overall analysis will not be complete, it is recommended that a LBC Calender Plan be reviewed for its overall effectiveness approximately 30 8211; 45 days after completion.
